Several Erasmus agreements were established to atract international students, such as in Germany, Netherlands, Bulgaria, Belgium, Lithuania. New collaborative links are under preparation with Russian Federation, United States, Canada and Japan. The programme have received some students from other countries, such as Brazil, Lithuania, Turkey and Austria.
The announcement for applications is made mostly in international webpages. Since the communication through elaboration and presentation of conference papers, and scietific article must be done usually in English, it is easier for the PhD students (even the Portuguese ones) to produce all the reports and thesis in English language.
Students are advised to produce their reports already in English, in order to use the existing collaborative links.
