Joint Doctorate Initiative (UNL/KIT)

A cooperation protocol between the Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia of the Universidade Nova de Lisboa (UNL) and the Institute for Technology Assessment and Systems Analysis of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), was signed in 2008 and it envisaged the promotion of the exchange of post-graduate students, the teaching/research staff mobility, common co-ordination and supervision and the education and science materials exchange, among other topics.

Mobility and International Cooperation

Technology Assessment is present in a wide spectrum of companies in very different sectors of industry and services. This Doctorate (PhD) course is an alternative and advanced training scheme of large potential for technicians that are related with processes of technological choice or technological investments. But it provides anyway a high level of scientific and technological knowledge in a academic framework.
