If you love doing art projects, we challenge you to “translate” the scientific abstract of one of our current research projects into an eye-catching illustration. The best figure will be awarded 300€ and will have the chance to be featured on the cover of a high IF scientific journal.
The European Commission recently approved the Erasmus Mundus Masters project "ChemoinformaticsPlus" in which the NOVA School of Science and Technology participates with the Master in Bioorganic Chemistry.
Check out our latest publications! In this paper, the authors showed how the dynamic self-assembly features of the Liquid Crystal droplets and corresponding optical changes upon gas exposure ensured efficient discrimination and classification of the tested gas analytes.
Projects developed under the 2nd part of uc DRAI: Application of remote sensing techniques to estimate crops productivity based on spectral pattern of cultures over time. For each area, it is intended to obtain the following data: (i) growth and health of the plants;(ii) anomalies detection; (iii) estimation of the harvest date; (iv) irrigation needs; (v) spatio-temporal analysis of each crop.
Projects account for 30% of the uc's final classification
