In this year's edition of the #expofct at FCT-NOVA, we explained our projects. Students were able to see the work of the e-nose device from the #SCENT_project and its application for disease detection from the #AccuseD_project. And learning more about the importance of the efficient bioseparation of biopharmaceutical drugs, which is the aim of the #PURE_project. Moreover, we showed the versatility of proteins' application in sensing and production of the smart bio-based materials, which is the main objective of the #Sea2See_project.
The Portuguese Young Biophysicists has the pleasure to invite the scientific community to the 2nd Meeting of Young Biophysicists, the “Biophysics Festival”, that will be held in Universidade de Aveiro on 3rd June 2022.
On February 18th our master student Rita Alves successfully defended her thesis as a part of her Master's Degree in Biomedical Engineering at NOVA School of Science and Technology. Her work was entitled "Time series analysis and machine learning algorithms for an e-nose sensor", developed under the supervision of Dr. Susana Palma and Prof. Hugo Gamboa.
