Luca Martinelli

Luca Martinelli received his Ph.D. degree in Seismic Engineering from Politecnico di Milano, and holds a M.Sc degree in Structural Engineering also from politecnico di Milano.

Luciano Nuccio is a technical consultant in cement, concrete and related materials. He completed his studies in the construction field in 2005 and subsequently collaborated with the Structural Engineering Department of the Milan Polytechnic and with construction companies for major works. Currently he follows customer relations, product developments and numerous projects on behalf of Holcim SpA, a worldwide company in the field of building materials for the Italian market.

Miguel Fernández Ruiz

Miguel Fernández Ruiz obtained his diploma in Civil Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (Spain) in 2001 and was awarded that year as the best national civil engineering student. He later performed his doctoral studies at the same university, and obtained his PhD (cum laude) in 2004. That year, he joined École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (Switzerland) as post-doctoral fellow, where he was later promoted to Senior Scientist.

Monica Lavagna

M.Sc. in Architecture (1998) and Ph.D. in Technology and Design for the Environmental Quality at Building and Urban Scale (2004), she is Associate Professor in Architectural Technology at Politecnico di Milano, where from 2004 she teaches in bachelor and master courses in Architecture (School AUIC) and she develop researches activities (ABC department).

Rui Marreiros

Rui Marreiros is an Assistant Professor at NOVA School of Science & Technology. Received his Ph.D. degree in Civil Engineering / Structures from NOVA University of Lisbon in 2014. He has been a professor of courses of Design of Concrete Structures I and II, Structural Project, Strength of Materials, Strengthening & Repair of Structures, among others.
