Rui Marreiros is an Assistant Professor at NOVA School of Science & Technology. Received his Ph.D. degree in Civil Engineering / Structures from NOVA University of Lisbon in 2014. He has been a professor of courses of Design of Concrete Structures I and II, Structural Project, Strength of Materials, Strengthening & Repair of Structures, among others. The main areas of interest are seismic behavior of reinforced concrete structures, punching behavior of flat slabs, strengthening of reinforced concrete structures, and reinforced concrete rocking walls.
