M.Sc. in Architecture (1998) and Ph.D. in Technology and Design for the Environmental Quality at Building and Urban Scale (2004), she is Associate Professor in Architectural Technology at Politecnico di Milano, where from 2004 she teaches in bachelor and master courses in Architecture (School AUIC) and she develop researches activities (ABC department).

Her research expertise are: Sustainability of buildings and construction works; Environmental assessment, Green Rating Systems (LEED, BREEAM, DGNB, etc.) and Life Cycle Assessment; Environmental innovation (low-intensity material, low energy intensity, recycle content/recyclability, reversibility, etc.); Circular Economy of Buildings and building materials.
