Why study paleontology in Portugal?

Plus, we help you to find the most suitable accommodation possible. Caparica is on the opposite side of Tejo River fro the vibrant and authentic city of Lisbon.

The FCT has created an accommodation portal, where private offers of apartments/houses and rooms are available. Those interested should contact the owners, through the contacts indicated in the Accommodation Portal.

If you need a place to stay in the first days of your stay, we advise you to stay at a Youth Hostel located on the outskirts of FCT / UNL, Almada (Pragal) is the nearest. Then, with the help of this section, you can get an accommodation for the rest of your stay.

You can also apply for a room at the University Residence, and fill out the online accommodation application, which will be sent by email. If you have already sent the application documents and have not yet received an email with the link to request accommodation you should send an email requesting it ( ). Orders will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis and will only be valid after receipt of all documentation.

The University Residences of UNL are open in August to national and foreign students, and there must be a minimum of 2 days of stay. More information available here.

On the page of the Erasmus Lisbon Association you can find accommodation in Lisbon and different activities organized for Erasmus students.

The Erasmus Life Lisboa, an entity dedicated to the promotion of the city of Lisbon as Erasmus city, tourist destination and destination for young people looking for professional work experience. This association promotes varied events and offers diverse services for Erasmus students ( pptx ).

The ANJAF Residence, located next to the Largo do Rato in Lisbon, also offers accommodation services.
