The alumnum (former student) in the Master in Paleontology João Muchagata is going to manage the paleontology section at Natural History and Science Museum of Porto.

João conducted his master thesis on ziphiid whales in 2016 titled "Function, sexual dimorphism and intraspecific variation of the bizarre rostral structures of the extinct beaked whale, Globicetus hiberus"

After being hired by the Museu da Lourinhã, now João Muchagata will soon start a scholarship on science and technology management in paleontology at the Natural History and Science Museum of the University of Porto (Portugal), financed by national funds through the Foundation for Science and Technology, IP and the Ministry of Science, Technology and Higher Education (FCT / MCTES).
