Mariana Moniz received her master’s degree in Micro and Nanotechnology Engineering, in 2021, at NOVA School of Science and Technology, with her thesis entitled, NiOx Hole Transport Layer Optimization for Perovskite Solar Cells with Inverted Architecture.

Currently, Mariana is working in the project All-Fibre, funded by FCT. The project aims to create a carbon fibre based integrated photovoltaic-supercapacitor device, able to harvest and store energy to supply common electronic devices, while keeping wearable, lightweight, and flexible, characteristics.


Main Scientific Interests: Solar cells, organic solar cells, thin-films, energy storage, flexible electronics
