Inês Sequeira completed the Integrated Material Engineering in June 2022 at FCT/UNL, with the final project entitled “Yarn Functionalization for electronic Textiles”. She performed the experimental work under supervision of Dr. Ana Baptista and co-supervised by Dr. João Canejo from FCT/UNL.
Before graduation, from January 2022 to July 2022 Inês participated in the project "All-FIBRE: All-Fibre Integrated Photovoltaic Storage Device for e-Textiles", which was a topic integrated in the theme of her thesis. In this project, the focus was on the blow spinning of an organic green separator to be integrated in a flexible supercapacitor and functionalization for yarns for innovative smart textiles systems.
Since October 2022 to present, Inês is working as a researcher on the project Insolensys where it aims to integrate supercapacitors with solar cells to produce devices for continuous power production.
