Amjid Rafique has received master degree from Politecnico di Torino Italy in chemical engineering with major in Textile Engineering in 2015. He has done his PhD from Politecnico di Torino Italy in Material Science and Technology with thesis: “Flexible fiber shape supercapacitors for wearable electronics”. Currently, Amjid is working in the project All-Fiber, funded by FCT. The project aims to create a carbon fiber based integrated photovoltaic-supercapacitor device, able to harvest and store energy to supply common electronic devices, while keeping wearable, lightweight, and flexible, characteristics.
