Francisco was born in 1998 in Coimbra. He graduated in 2019 in Biology at Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia – Universidade de Coimbra, and during that time he worked as a student intern in Therapies targeting brain diseases: genomic and lipidomic approaches group at  the Centre for neurosciences and cell biology (CNC). Currently, he is finishing is Master degree in Biotechnology at Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia – Universidade Nova de Lisboa, and he is part of Des.solve group, where he is working with Deep Eutectic Systems for the extraction of bioactive compounds from Cannabis sativa.
