Teresa Brás is a PhD researcher at Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia at NOVA University. Her research work is focus on the definition of a methodology to assess how climate variability and extremes, as well as, energy inputs have conditioned crop yield and how they will do under future climate and socio-economic scenarios. From 2011 to 2016, Teresa worked as a national delegate to the Earth Observation and the Robitic Exploration Committees of the European Space Agency (ESA) and from 2009 to 2011 as an Earth Observation Researcher at ESA. Previously, Teresa Brás worked as a project consultant at a Portuguese Start-up. She has a BSc. in Environmental Engineering and a Master in Environmental Systems Management.
