New steps for the institutionalisation of TA in Spain:

The 7th Doctoral Conference on Technology will be held on the June 30st, 2017. Confirmed is the participation of the MEP Carlos Coelho that will talk about the Portuguese participation on TA initiatives. MEP Coelho is Panel Member of STOA.

2nd European Conference on Technology Assessment, Berlin

Two European conferences (2013 in Prague and 2015 in Berlin) aimed at taking stock of and supporting exchange on TA capacities available in Europe are being organised in the framework of the FP7 funded project “Parliaments and Civil Society in Technology Assessment” (PACITA).

PACITA is a four-year EU financed project under FP7 aimed at increasing the capacity and enhancing the institutional foundation for knowledge-based policy-making on issues involving science, technology and innovation, mainly based upon the diversity of practices in Parliamentary Technology Assessment (PTA).
