Grupo de Estudos em Avaliação de Tecnologia (GrEAT)

GrEAT é o acrónimo de Grupo de Estudo sobre Avaliação de Tecnologia. É um grupo fundado em 2010 e tem o seu campo de actuação localizado em Portugal. Actualmente, representa a rede nacional de especialistas em avaliação de tecnologia com actividades nos seguintes domínios:

a) investigação científica e tecnológica

b) serviços para entidades públicas (Parlamento, instituições governamentais, organismos públicos) e privadas (empresas, associações, fundações)

The national TA network started in 2010 as GrEAT (study group on technology assessment) and has a webpage at https://avaliacaotecnologia.wordpress.com/

The members are the TA community involved in the PhD programme, and also all the other interested people as scholars, supervisors, members of the parliament,and so forth.

Collaboration with other institutions

The PhD programme has two type of collaborations: with foreign institutions and with national institutions. These collaborations exist to supply student's competences. They are either scientific due to contact with other experienced experts, or through social competences needed to present and compare interim results between students and foreign researchers.
