- Plan for the effective, equitable distribution of treatments and vaccines, because development isn’t enough if they aren’t effectively distributed.

COVID-19 EU PolicyWatch - Portugal

Eurofound's COVID-19 EU PolicyWatch collates information on the responses of government and social partners to the crisis, as well as gathering examples of company practices aimed at mitigating the social and economic impacts.
Eurofound has identified 31 measures in Portugal in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. Most cases fall into the category Income protection beyond short-time work with 6 cases (19%). The data collection to date started in March 2020, with the next main update scheduled for July 2020.

As consequências socioeconómicas da pandemia COVID-19 não configuram uma simples tradução de um perigo natural que a todos afeta, mas sim o resultado de um conjunto de riscos socialmente construídos e potenciados. Mesmo quando têm origens naturais, os riscos manifestam-se na esfera social, económica e política assimetricamente. Este livro aborda a partir de uma perspetiva multidimensional, e considerando escalas de análise diferenciadas, as vulnerabilidades sociais, económicas e institucionais da sociedade portuguesa face à crise pandémica e suas consequências socioeconómicas.
