Our group was present at the summer school Chem2Nature 2018 in Porto, Portugal. Principal Investigator Prof. Cecília Roque was one of the invited speakers, where she spook about our work at the Biomolecular Engineering Lab.
Reminder of the international thematic school PEPPERSchool (PEPTIDE AND PROTEIN ENGINEERING: FROM CONCEPTS TO BIOTECHNOLOGICAL APPLICATIONS) that we are organizing in Carry-le-Rouet (France) on May 13-17th, 2018. This school will gather international experts from the field of peptide/protein chemistry as well as molecular biology methodologies.
The Workshop ABC2 "Anything but conventional chromatography" organised by our group and held in Lisbon last week (22-24th November) has been a success!
Ana Carolina Pádua participated in an outreach at the secondary school ESPAM, in Vila Nova de Santo André, on 15th September 2017. Ana Carolina spoke about her academic pathway, and the Master in Biomedical Engineering at FCT-UNL. Also, she presented her current PhD project, as well as the prototypes of Electronic Nose developed so far.
Once again our group was present in the European Researchers Night, that took place on 29th of September at the Natural History National Museum, Lisbon.
Our paper Tunable Gas Sensing Gels by Cooperative Assembly (more information on our Publications' page) was chosen for the cover of Advanced Functional Materials, Vol. 27, No. 27, July, 2017.
