ERC grantee meeting at Champalimaud Foundation

Professor Cecília Roque participated in a meeting together with ERC grantees, Commissioner Carlos Moedas and ERC President Bourguignon at Champalimaud Foundation last July 4.

Workshop: Computational Protein Design for Biotech Applications

Our lab is organizing a three-day hands-on workshop that intends to capture the attention of talented graduate and post-graduate students (including M.Sc., Ph.D., Post-docs and researchers) with a background in computational chemistry, bioinformatics, chemical and biochemical engineering, for the forefront computational methodologies in use nowadays, in the field of de novo Protein Design.

ERA-IB Project Meeting in Ludwigshafen

The CHImerASE project partners met past february at the BASF site in Ludwigshafen (Germany).

Congratulations to Ana Carolina Pádua for her award in Startup Pirates - Hardware Edition 2015!

Our colleague Ana Carolina Pádua has participated in the event Startup Pirates - Hardware Edition 2015 where her team developed a business idea for the electronic nose being developed at our lab. This initiative took place in Lisbon last December 12 to 19 and the final pitch of her team has been awarded the 3rd jury prize!

Congratulations Professor Cecília Roque for her Habilitation!

Professor Cecília Roque got her new Academic Degree - Agregação (or Habilitation).
This is the highest obtainable academic degree, and was conceded to Prof. Cecilia after an outstanding presentation and lecture with an academic jury on November 10 and 11, 2015.
