1- – Exhibit at the Museu Nacional de História Natural e da Ciência, Universidade de Lisboa.
This exhibition presents the work carried out under the NanoCell2Sec project - Bio-inspired sustainable optical security feature solutions from nanocellulose composites structural colouration, a collaboration between the National Museum of Natural History and Science/CE3C of the University of Lisbon and the NOVA School of Science and Technology. The exhibition focused on the project's work, namely the study of the structural colour of insects in the Museum's collection and its use as (bio)inspiration in the development of cellulose-derived materials, such as cellulose nanocrystals, aiming to approximate visual effects observed in insects. A task 2 Output.
