European Geologist Journal 48

The European Geologist is a Journal of the European Federation of Geologists. Out this week, issue 48 is dedicated to European geological heritage. MineHeritage is mentioned in the article "Croatian Geological heritage related to historical mining and quarrying", by Marta Mileusnić, Ana Maričić and Michaela Hruškova Hasan, MineHeritage partners of Faculty of Mining Geology and Petroleum Engineering, University of Zagreb.

European Minerals Days

The Faculty of Mining, Geology and Petroleum of the University of Zagreb organized the European Minerals Day on the 23rd of September 2019. The activities included the dissemination of the MineHeritage Project, workshops and seminars about the mineral world, some of them specially dedicated to the younger generations. 

European Research's Night 2019

This Friday, 27 September 2019 will be the European Researchers' Night! The MineHeritage project will be presented in different cities!
In Lisbon, we will be at the Museum of History and Natural Science, from 18h. Come on!

RGNF - University of Zagreb Activities

In the context of the MineHeritage project, the Faculty of Mining, Geology and Petroleum of Zagreb (RGNF), in partnership with the Rabdoa Museum, seeks to identify old and abandoned mining sites, which may contribute with additional information on the use and exploitation of Raw materials. The RGNF visited the Museum and Mines of sulphur and coal and installed two Geocaches that successfully promote historical mining in Radoboj.

MineHeritage - Kick-off Meeting

The MineHeritage Consortium met for the Kick-Off Meeting of the project in Lisbon Portugal. Twenty-five delegates from the 13 partners gathered at FCT NOVA on the 19th and 20th of February to discuss the project workplan for the manifold activities of MineHeritage.
