The Faculty of Mining, Geology and Petroleum of the University of Zagreb organized the European Minerals Day on the 23rd of September 2019. The activities included the dissemination of the MineHeritage Project, workshops and seminars about the mineral world, some of them specially dedicated to the younger generations. 

This event is a biannual Pan-European awareness initiative sponsored by IMA-Europe (European Industrial Mineral Association), giving the opportunity to the wider society to explore the world of minerals. 

The European Minerals Day was also celebrated at Faculty of Mining, Safety Engineering and Industrial Automation of Salisian University of Tecnology, on the 24rd of September 2019.The activities included the dissemination of the MineHeritage Project and issues about the space!
