Tara is a PhD student investigating the wintering ecology of the rufa Red Knot in northern Brazil. Broadly, she is interested in biodiversity conservation and what shorebird ecology can teach us about coexistence in our shared social and ecological systems. In her free time she loves reading, drawing and visiting museums – in addition to watching shorebirds of course!
