Biography

Artur Neves obtained his MSc degree in Conservation and Restoration from the Department of Conservation and Restoration of NOVA School of Sciences and Technology in 2017, with a dissertation focused on the study of cellulose nitrate degradation mechanisms. He is currently a CORES Ph.D. fellow and his project will contribute to a better preservation of cellulose nitrate heritage by the convergence of history of science and technology and conservation science.
