Antonio Soviero achieved a Master's Degree in Biology at the University of Study of Salerno in december 2024 with a thesis work on the anti-inflammatory and antioxidants effects of Pelargonium sidoides DC root extract on J774A.1 cell line. He then pursued a training in Cryo-EM at the IGDR institute in Rennes (France) through an Erasmus+ Traineeship program, in which he was able to autonomously process a real Cryo-EM dataset, finally modeling a 70S E.coli ribosome interacting with the c-terminal tail of the SmpB protein. Antonio has a huge interest for bioinformatics, especially structural bioinformatics for drug discovery purposes but also for the wet biology world, wanting to develop solid multidisciplinary competences. Outside the laboratory, he is passionate about anime, manga and videogames fan.
