Inês holds a Bachelor degree in Biochemistry and just started her final master thesis in  Biotechnology, both from FCT-NOVA. At our lab, she will be working on the Non-invasive and fast identification of antimicrobial-resistant bacteria within our #SCENT_project.

We wish that she achieves her personal goals and hope that this experience will be worthy for her future!

Last week we took part in the #affinity2021 #conference organized by the International Society for Molecular Recognition (https://ismr.org). We are very happy to announce that our PhD students Carina Esteves and Gonçalo Teixeira were awarded Younger Investigator Award for their posters presentations. Congratulations! #SCENT_project

We have the pleasure to welcome Diana Laje and David Reis as new members of the group! They are undergraduate students in Biochemistry from FCT NOVA and will be doing their Bachelor's Projects, supervised by Ana Pina and co-supervised by Arménio Barbosa. Diana will work with "Artificial fluorescent enzyme - PM-GFP" and David will focus on "Development of collagen-inspired biomaterials". Good luck to both!
