Public-engagement event organized in the host institution of the project, targeted to pre-university young students, with activities in the scope of SuperSolar

Title of theme: Make the Sun your Energy Source

Objective: to foster research and innovation interest in young students, particularly in the field of solar electricity (photovoltaics, PV)

Scope: Every year several selected high-school students enrol in 1 week of summer research activities, to learn lab skills and to fabricate and test different types of portable solar chargers, as well as developing the control electronics via power-management programming.
