Nourhaen has focused on acquiring the deep and comprehensive knowledge in marine biology during the last 4 years. Her master's research revolved on “soft-bottom macrobenthic diversity and ecological status of ports”. Currently, she is at the second year of PhD at the Faculty of Sciences of Sfax, University of Sfax, Tunisia, and works on the quantification and the identification of microplastics on marine organisms in Tunisian coasts.
