Master’s in environmental engineering in the field of environmental systems and a degree in Biology. During her degree, Joana Neves had the opportunity to volunteer in the CUMBFISH project. Her master thesis was developed in the area of environment risk, particularly the study of the effects of the ingestion of microplastics using a marine fish as a model organism. Currently, she is a researcher at MARlab Team within the D4Ss project, under the supervision of Professors Marta Martins and Maria Helena Costa.
