Rodrigo Martins is full professor in Materials Science Department of Faculty of Science and Technology of New University of Lisbon, a Fellow of the Portuguese Engineering Academy since 2009 and a member of the European Academy of science since 2016. He was decorated with the gold medal of merit and distinction by the Almada Municipality for his R&D achievements.

João Goes graduated from Instituto Superior Técnico (IST), Lisbon, in Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE), in 1992. He obtained the M.Sc. and the Ph.D. degrees in ECE, respectively, in 1996 and 2000, from the Technical University of Lisbon and the ‘Agregado’degree ('Habilitation'degree), in Electronics, in 2012 from the NOVA University of Lisbon (NOVA). João Goes has been with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (DEEC) of the Faculty of Sciences and Technology (FCT) of NOVA, since April 1998, where he is currently an Associate Professor.

Prof. Luis Pereira was born in Lisbon, Portugal, in 1977. He received the Engineering degree in Materials Science in 2001 and has finished the PhD in Microelectronics and Optoelectronics in 2008 at Universidade Nova de Lisboa. The PhD work was focused on polycrystalline silicon and high k dielectrics for TFT’s application.
