Instituto de Desenvolvimento de Novas Tecnologias (UNINOVA) is a private non-profit research institute lending services to industry
and SME, and promoting high-level applied research in the fields of robotics, electronics, micro/nano-electronics, optoelectronics, telecommunications, artificial intelligence, environment, and thin film technologies.
UNINOVA is organized in centres of excellence, involving more than 250 scientists and technologists and with a large tradition in being involved in applied research projects, at a National and International level.
Particularly relevant is UNINOVA´s internationally recognized experience in cutting-edge areas of science and technology.
In the present project participates via the Centre of Technologies and Systems (CTS) and the Centre of Excellence of Microelectronics and Optoelectronics Processes (CEMOP).
CTS´s mission is to develop, to integrate skills and to disseminate scientific and technological knowledge, to support graduate education of international quality and to ensure the transfer of technology I the areas of microelectronics, nanoelectronics, circuit design, modelling and simulation, with ability to execute large-scale projects, multidisciplinary & farreaching.
CEMOP host first class fabrication and processing infrastructures. A particular area of expertise of CEMOP deals with advanced multifunctional materials such as oxide semiconductors for a plethora of applications.
