João Rabaça has a BSc degree in Celular and Molecular biology by Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia da Universidade NOVA de Lisboa (FCT-UNL).

He is currently taking a MSc in Molecular Genetics and Biomedicine by FCT-UNL, which is focused on exploring the effects of altered glycosylation on the immune system.
