Carlota Pascoal has a BSc in Biochemistry degree by Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade de Lisboa (FCUL) and MSc degree in Biochemistry for Health from a partnership between Instituto de Tecnologia Química e Biológica - Universidade Nova de Lisboa (ITQB-UNL), NOVA School of Science and Technology, Instituto Gulbenkian da Ciência (IGC) and Centro de Estudos de Doenças Crónicas (CEDOC). Currently, she is doing her PhD aimed at assessing the immunological response in Congenital Disorders of Glycosylation (CDG) both at the functional and molecular level to unravel new therapeutics, ultimately improving CDG patients' quality of life.
This research is developed under the scope of CDG & Allies - Professionals and Patient Associations International Network (CDG & Allies - PPAIN).
