How to use

In the ELIIXS database initial page you will be able to choose a neutral element, with 1<Z<92, from a periodic table form.

Afterwards, in the opened dialog window:

  1. Choose one, or several, orbitals to compute the respective electron impact ionization cross sections (EIICS) using the MRBEB model. The results will be plotted in a graph of the EIICS versus the energy of the incident electron (IE).
  2. To draw the graph:
    1. For automatic control over the cross section and energy values scales, click “Compute and draw graph”.
    2. To define the maximum energy value of the IE, input the value in the “Maximum energy” box, and click “Compute and draw graph”.
    3. To change the cross section and/or energy values scales, click “Logarithmic”, and then click “Compute and draw graph”.
    4. The options II. and III. can be combined.
  3. To export the information plotted in graph to an excel file (.xlsx), in the new window with the graph click “Export results to Excel”
