Eduardo Simões is a new undergraduate student that arrived in the begining of September. He will be at our lab doing an internship until December 2019. He is Brazilian and studies Chemical Engineering at the Poli-Universidade de São Paulo (USP).

Eduardo is willing to develop his own skills and knowledge in order to be able to move further to professional jobs that might give him full satisfaction. His project will envolve studies on the electronic nose from #SCENT_project and he will work on the production of the volatile-sensitive materials, which involves processing of biological materials, synthesis and modification of nanomaterials and on the characterization of the volatile-sensitive materials produced.

Apart from the studies, he likes to play board and card games and he is interested in books, and mystery series and movies. Planning might be key to him, since he says that a perfect day is a day that he is able to finish everything he planned to do.
