Call for Papers on “Open Biomaterials Research” at the multidisciplinary open-access journal PLOS ONE where Cecilia actas as an Academic Editor.  The Guest Editors for this project are Aldo R. Boccaccini, Kimberly Hamad-Schifferli, Michael McAlpine and Jie Song.

We encourage submissions related to all aspects of biomaterials research, which are transparent in their reporting and share protocols and recipes. We particularly welcome submissions reporting open source tools, protocols and negative and null results. The accepted papers will form a PLOS Collection. Contributions should be submitted by 15 November 2018.

The journal PLOS ONE is published by the Public Library of Science (PLOS), a non-profit open access publisher and advocacy organization and assesses submissions for scientific rigor rather than perceived impact.
