New review article on liquid crystals

Our latest review has been published online in the most recent issue of the Advanced Optical Materials journal.

Our team did an extensive overview on the use of liquid crystals in gas sensing technologies. It focuses on the different strategies used so far in liquid crystal-based sensors for the detection of gases or volatile organic compounds, such as the interaction mechanisms used to enhance selectivity toward analytes and also the transduction methods to obtain macroscopic signals.
