Carolina Hermida Merino is a postdoctoral researcher whose work is being developed under the aim of the project "Development of Fluorinated Ionic Liquids as solvents for specific delivery". Carolina joined the team in September of 2017 and has published one paper ever since. She has recently received a PhD grant on “Graphene Nanofluids, Viscoelastic and Thermophysical properties” from the Department of Applied Physics of the University of Vigo (July of 2017). This work was focussed on the production of stable and well-characterized nanofluids.

Daniela Marques is depeloping her work within a MSc holder research grant focusing the "Development of Fluorinated Ionic Liquids as solvents for specific delivery " (Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia, Universidade Nova de Lisboa) from November 2018. Daniela holds a Masters Degree in Experimental Pathology obtained in Coimbra Institute for Clinical and Biomedical Research (ICBR) - Medical University of Coimbra, 2017 and a bachelor degree in Human Biology - University of Évora, 2012.

Supervised by Ana B. Pereiro and co-supervised by João M.M. Araújo (FCT-NOVA).

Eduardo has been part of the research group since February 2017 when he did his research internship to obtain the chemical engineer title. He is currently part of the Reduction of the Environmental Impact project of Fluorinated Gases in the Sudoe space using Key Enabling Technologies for which he has a PhD scholarship.
