Gianpaolo Rosati is Full Professor of Structural Analysis and Design (Tecnica delle Costruzioni) Politecnico di Milano, Dept of Civil Environmental Engineering. He received his degree and PhD (1990) at Politecnico di Milano, Structural Engineering Dept. Former director and current scientific committee member of the LPMSC lab Laboratory for testing Materials, Buildings and Structures, with a vast experience of design and management of testing systems and infrastructure

His research interests cover high performance fiber reinforced concrete, steel to concrete bond, FRP strengthening, recycled aggregate and green concrete.
