Fausta Fiorillo holds a Ph.D. in Architecture and Urban Phenomenology from the University of Basilicata (2013). She was a research fellow at the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Salerno from 2014 to 2017, participating in several projects (PRIN, FARB, Grande Progetto Pompei). She is currently an assistant professor and senior researcher (ERC project LIFE - Living in a Fringe Environment) in the field of advanced 3D survey and representation techniques at the “Architecture, Built environment and Construction engineering” Department (Politecnico di Milano). She has collaborated with national/international universities and research institutes (Laboratory of Architectural Photogrammetry -Higher Technical School of Architecture - Valladolid University, Spain; 3D Optical Metrology unit - Fondazione Bruno Kessler - Trento; Cordoba National University, Argentina).
