To commemorate the National Sea Day, the event "OCEAN WITHOUT WASTE: National Contribution to the United Nations Decade of Ocean Sciences for Sustainable Development" takes place on November 16, at the Lisbon Academy of Sciences, and Professor Paula Sobral will participate and moderate one of the panels.
This event is organized by the Portuguese Committee for the UNESCO Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission and its partners.
Discover the various national and international initiatives in debate around the detection, prevention and reduction of marine debris and microplastics in the ocean.
At the end of the day, in the exhibition space, there will be a tasting action to promote sustainable fishing species.
