The main research area of interest is in Nanomaterials; Nanotecnology, Green Chemistry and Environmental Engineering.
Namely in Green Nanotechnology solutions for the Environmental application
(i) Fullerene–Enhanced In-situ Surfactant/Cosolvent Flushing for Green Remediation of Non–Aqueous Phase Liquids;
(ii) Fullerene-based systems for oxidative inactivation of airborne pathogens
(iii) Development of the highly efficient nanocarbons for air/water purification from toxic gases, metals and organic compounds.
(iv) Pilot production of the activated carbons. Design and application of the activated carbons for the off-gas system at Nuclear Power Station;
(v) Natural organic wastes recovery approach in its triple dimension (Reuse, Recycling and Energy Recovery)
(vi) Soil remediation from organic and inorganic pollutions;
(vii) Novel high sensitive sorption/catalytic analytical methods for supported Pd determination and etc.
