The MIT Portugal Program selected our idea on water desalination and resource recovery using flow electrode capacitive deionisation for exploration at the 2026 Innovation Workshop at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (Cambridge, USA) from June 8-12, 2026, and covered all expenses for our team member, Dr Hafiz Muhammad Saif Ullah Saleem, to participate.
