Tiago Moreira has a bachelor in applied chemistry at the Faculty of Sciences and Technology of Lisbon (FCT-UNL) in 2012, with a final year research project entitled "Synthesis of semicondutive polymers for electrochromism". Tiago worked at Ynvisible from 2012 to 2014 focused on the synthesis and characterization of electrochromic polymers and devices that allowed Tiago to gain experience on the area of electrochromism.
In 2014 Tiago finished his master degree in Bioorganic Chemistry at the Faculty of Sciences and Technology of Lisbon (FCT-UNL) with a close collaboration with Ynvisible® and the Photochemistry and Supramolecular Chemistry research group of FCT-UNLwith a thesis entitled "Electrochromic Polymers confined in mesoporous systems".
Currently Tiago is working at the Photochemistry and Supramolecular Chemistry Research Group, in the EU project "Self-Assembly in Confined Spaces", developing new electrochromic polymers and devices confined in mesoporous systems, which is mainly focused on Titanium Dioxide or Carbon Nanotubes.
