Madalena Serro has been working as a textile conservator at the José de Figueiredo Laboratory - Museums and Monuments in Portugal (E.P.E.) since December 2023. Before joining LJF-MMP, she worked as a freelancer since 2006, mainly in the conservation of historical textiles. During her professional career, she has deepened her specialised knowledge in the study, material, technical and decorative analysis of textiles, analysis of the causes of degradation and new approaches to textile intervention methodology.
