TASK 3
Investigating Blooming Impact 

Task 3 will address fundamental questions about the impact of blooming on TPU-coated fabrics and explore conservation approaches already in practice, although their long-term effects remain unassessed.

The research will determine whether blooming contributes to material degradation, whether it should be removed, and whether preventive strategies can be implemented.

By analysing previously treated objects and conservation case studies, this task will generate essential knowledge to support decision-making in the preservation of TPU-coated materials
