Aurélio Sine is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Civil Engineering / Structures at Faculty of Engineering of University of Porto (FEUP) and a researcher at LABEST-FEUP since 2016. He received his B.Eng in Civil Engineering (2013) at Faculty of Engineering of University Eduardo Mondlane (UEM) in Mozambique. In 2013 he joined the Department of Construction Materials and Structures at Laboratory of Engineering of Mozambique (LEM) as junior researcher. From 2014 to 2016 he worked as junior teaching assistant at his bachelor faculty. His research interests include Structural Health Monitoring, Characterization, Rehabilitation and Strengthening Techniques of Existing Reinforced Concrete Structures, including the use of Ultra-High Performance Fiber Reinforced cementitious Composites, and numerical and experimental modelling.
