Pedro Afonso Magalhães Centeno

Researcher

Pedro Centeno obtained his Masters degree in Micro and Nanotecnology Engineering in 2018 at NOVA School of Science and Technology and was granted an honorable mention for his Master thesis merit in APREN2019 Prize. In January of 2021, Pedro enrolled his PhD at Materials Research Center (CENIMAT) and Center of Excellence in Microelectronics and Optoelectronics Processes (CEMOP) in the Faculty of Science and Technology of NOVA University, in partnership with the International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory (INL). His work comprehends nano-photonics for PV applications and self-cleaning coating technologies. Recently, Pedro has been working on the fabrication and characterization of Tetrahedrite thin-films for PV and also started developing 2D diffraction gratings for PV cells.
