"As an undergraduate student at the Department of Chemistry, FCT-UNL, and recognizing the quality of education provided, I had no doubts when I had to choose which master to follow. The Master in Biotechnology has opened my horizons and awakened my curiosity to topics that would never have imagined to exist. Very important was also the support from the masters´ coordinators who encouraged me to pursue the final master thesis abroad.

Today, after spending a year at EPFL (Switzerland), I am doing my PhD at the University of Göttingen (Germany). The interdisciplinarity of my training allowed me to work in different areas such as cell biotechnology, ADME and drug discovery.
