WaveScan has been developed in the works of two master thesis. It runs on Matlab®  and is currently under version 4. May process the EEG, the ECG or other bio-signal or indeed any time series with uniform sampling. It has a menu driven interface with mouse area selection. This platform has been developed as a tool to facilitate the signal Wavelet analysis. The tool comprises two main signal operations: time-scale representation of the signal, and the sub-signal reconstruction with Wavelet Packets in the user selected nodes. Version 4 allows for 2 signal annotations, and this has been added for the bio-signal processing.

The initial menu prompts for the various wavelet parameters, signal file name, or patient name for biomedical signals.
